As a part time BTFC fan, i have been to watch a fair few games this season when the mighty HTFC are playing away from home. Having watched various games from August till now, i think there is something lacking in the side from what we had at the start of the season. With one win in sixteen, something definitely needs to be done to get back to winning ways. I appreciate that a lot of good quality players have left the side since the time when we found ourselves 2nd and 3rd in the league (albeit early days) and putting in some great footballing performances. The team now looks a bit lightweight and has done for a while, especially in midfield, although nice to see Smith returning to the club, hopefully this should add a bit of creativity to the side. Maybe my expectations are a little high, but i think recalling the games i watched around aug and sept (also travelling away to farsley on two occasions) it looked as if we could easily challenge for a place in the top four or five, especially when you consider the win at farsley in the league. Anyway, hope we can get back to winning ways very soon, to avoid any fear of relegation! Cheers, Rich |
