Brighouse Town v Bridlington Town

Match goes ahead at Dual Seal Stadium:Sat 21st Aug KO 3pm

Town's match against champions Bridlington Town, who we thank for their kind understanding, goes ahead despite the devastating fire at the Dual Seal Stadium on Monday.
Fencing has been put in place around the burnt out building shell to make the site safe. Half-time hospitality for our visitors committee will be in the Physio room of the Changing room block and the away team toilets will be used for spectators in the same area.
Early in the week we stated there would be no refreshments available to the public but we have since had an offer from Mr David Wood who runs a local Scout group, to erect a small tent and loan us the use of a boiler, so we will be able to offer basic refreshments of tea and coffee.
After match hospitality will be at the Crow Nest Golf Club and we thank Les Holmes and Glyn Owen for thier kind invitation.
Can I take this chance once again to thank everyone for their messages of support for the club in this difficult time. They really have been an inspiration for us to get back up and running and to do everything possible to start playing football again at the Dual Seal.
Special thanks to the NCEL Committee and Ground Grading Official Ian Cox for their support and also to our fellow NCEL teams who's good-will messages have only confirmed what we in a short time in the League already new, that the NCEL is made up of fantastic Clubs run by fantastic people.
I would also like to thank our regular supporters and the local public in Brighouse for their good wishes, we have had supporters and indeed just general people who have heard about the fire, coming up to the Dual Seal and offering to help in any way they can - this has very much been appreciated by the Club.
Dave and Emily Parker along with Stephen Firth from the Brighouse Echo have been as ever , a great help to the Club and Radio Leeds, after doing a feature for our FA Cup game last week, contacted the Club to pass on their best wishes.

Thanks again to everyone.

Rgds,
Ray Mclaughlin - BTAFC Vice-Chairman
