Tuesday 2nd February, 7-45pm

Brighouse Town travel to Scarborough Athletic (at Bridlington Town FC) this evening (Tuesday, 7-45) following a 1-0 home win over Radcliffe Borough at the weekend. A single goal from Daniel Facey, who has returned from injury, was the difference between the two sides. Scarborough go into the game following a narrow 1-0 defeat at league leaders Warrington Town. Town manager Paul Quinn is hoping he can minimise the changes made to the squad following a crucial 3 points.

Quinn commented "Overall in terrible conditions on Saturday the performance fully deserved maximum points, you look at the two games previous and our performance certainly didn't get rewarded in terms of the end result. We all know its about finding a way to win games and we want to stay in touch with the top 5 teams for as long as possible. We wont be fancied by any side in the league to get anywhere near the play offs and realistically it will have to be a big effort from us now but in a way that helps because we can just go out and play with freedom and have a real go in every game and that is what I've asked the players to do."

Speaking ahead of tonight's game Quinn contined; "We wont be sitting back for 90 minutes tonight we will give oursleves a chance of winning the game, regardless of the outcome we want to have a real go in every single match. Tonight is no different we know it will be a tough task especially with Scarborough under new management with Steve (Kittrick) at the helm, but we will just focus on us and try and get the job done."

On squad news Quinn said "We dont expect to make many changes tonight as everyone came through Saturday's game unscathed, I know we are all really looking forward to the challenge."

Town will be without Mark Betts who has left the club to take up the vacasnt assistant managers post at Northwich Victoria. Tom Haigh (hamistring) and Steve Hollingworth (shoulder) also both remained side line as does Adam Wilson (back). All three are expected to feature in Thursday night's development team game at Harrogate Railway.

Following tonight's game Town host Bamber Bridge on Saturday at the Dual Seal Stadium, 3pm kick off.
