Brighouse Town midfielder James Hurtley has joined AFC Emley on a dual registration in his quest to regain his match fitness. Manager Paul Quinn facilitated the move to aid the midfielder after a lengthy suspension following a red card against Mossley FC last season. Hurtley has been unavailable for all Town's games to date but is now free from suspension.

Hurtley is expected to go straight into Darren Hepworth's side against Ashton Athletic in the FA Vase on Saturday. We wish James every success and look forward to him returning to the Dual Seal fully fit shortly.

Meanwhile Jacob Buchanan has joined NCEL side Campion FC on a short term deal. The talented young winger has not been in either of the last two first team squads and Quinn was keen to give Buchanan further senior experience to aid his progression at Brighouse. Jacob will be with James Bicknell's Bradford based side for the short term.
