James developed a love of the game from an early age, played over 1000 football matches both Saturdays and Sundays in west Yorkshire. He is currently in his second stint with Brighouse. His first spell with the club was part of the team that won the NCEL under previous manager Paul Quinn. Since his return James has fit straight back with the players and fans.

He is looking to kick on this year and with aims to get the club into the playoffs as a minimum.
