Brightlingsea Regent under 18's lost their first game of the season and in doing so were eliminated from the FA youth cup. Enfield Town scored the 60th minute penalty and held on to progress to the next round despite being reduced to 10 men after an incident when the penalty was awarded which saw both teams players having to be separated. Regent were thwarted by two excellent saves from the Enfield stopper later in the half and despite their numerical advantage were unable to claim an equaliser.
