Regent face another tough test this weekend against Cray Wanderers at North Road.

Brightlingsea Regent face another huge game tomorrow when they take on 6th placed Cray Wanderers at North Road. The two sides are separated by just three points having both played 36 games with Cray only outside the final play off place on goal difference and with Regent having a game in hand on 5th placed Cheshunt, it really is another huge weekend in the play off race with just 10 games remaining.

The two sides met mid January in the reverse fixture when Regent came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in a cracking game, sadly during the game substitute Uche Ibemere suffered a broken leg just a minute after entering the play. Tomorrow there will be a collection for Uche to help him during his recovery so please give generously when you see the collection bucket.
The recent form for both sides is identical with both having won 2, drawn 1 and lost 2 with Cray winning their last game 2-1 against Waltham Abbey, a stunning Grant Basey free kick followed by a Ben Hunt goal securing the points. Regent drew last Saturday 2-2 against Cheshunt with a Phil Kelly brace securing a point.
This game should be a cracker with so much at stake and kicks off at 3pm.

The 21's face a trip to Diss Town Reserves tomorrow looking to bounce back after consecutive defeats. The latest a 2-1 loss at home to league leaders Hadleigh United Reserves last Saturday, a Calum Holyman goal not enough to secure any points for Regent. The two sides met in mid October at North Road where Regent ran out 4-0 winners against 15th placed Diss. Last Saturday Diss were also defeated losing out 5-0 at Stanway Rovers Reserves, this game is also a 3pm kick off.

The A team face an away game at Boxted Lodgers Reserves tomorrow after having a free weekend last week due to Kelvedon Social Reserves being unable to raise a side. The A team are 6th in the table with 34 points from their 19 games whilst their hosts tomorrow are 13th with 17 points from their 20 games. The two sides met back at the beginning of October where a Tony Chatters hat-trick helped the A's secure a 7-1 win. This game is also a 3pm kick off.
Come and support the Regent this weekend.
