Brightlingsea started the game on the front foot, Terrence Kangandu going close on two occasions with two one on ones which the FC Clacton keeper smothered.
FC Clacton defended well up until midway into the first half when Charlie Lindoe scored from the left side of the penalty area with a sublime finish.
Shortly after Brightlingsea continued to press and carved out numerous opportunities, one which was taken with great composure by Sam Hodder.

Brightlingsea started the second half in the same manner and continued to maintain possession and creating further opportunities two of which that fell to Terrence Kangandu who broke the offside trap and kept his cool twice to slot pass the keeper.
Brightlingsea made a few changes including a 15 year old defender, Harry White who has impressed highly since signing a few weeks ago.
FC Clacton who pressed and manoeuvred the ball better in the second half which created two long range effort which were both saved by the impressing Aaron Reedman who was making his debut for the club.
A penalty was given for the final goal, in which captain Kieran Ayling dispatched with confidence.
A great week to bounceback for the boys, who now go into the Sudbury game on Thursday with huge confidence.
