The forecast for tomorrow is not great at least until around 2.00pm. We hope that the ground will be sufficiently dry for a prompt start so that we can get the match completed by 7.00pm latest so all those who want to slip away to watch France v Portugal in the Euros can do so. The match is ON unless you get a call from me. Joe Gatford will be on hand with mops and towels to ensure that Horsdean is as dry as possible.

There are a few changes going on with our fixture list at the moment due to clubs either folding ( Hammerwood) or struggling for numbers ( Ashdown Forest & Lindfield) and with the dreadful weather this has not been an easy season. Please note a couple of date changes with fixtures too. Geoff Stringer does a great job with balancing the numbers that we have available and is trying to give everyone a fair go. As a consequence it is not much to ask each individual to check their current availability EACH MONDAY MORNING as a number of you have missed out on selection or have caused selection issues as you have not checked your availability. Geoff often leaves himself out just so you can all play so please be a bit more assiduous with your own administration. I have selected three teams this season whilst Geoff has been away and believe me it's not an easy task and clairvoyance is not within my job specification.
