Enjoyment is key whilst under pressure

With two further great wins under our belt,Imperial 53-7 and Kingswood in the cup the 35-7 the excellent run of results keeps the possibility of a promotion and cup double firmly in our own destiny.

What we must not forget is that we can pile the pressure on ourself unnecessarily, as we step ever closer to the end of the season, playing with confidence and a smile on your face is all part of the winning habit , and we currently have a great team spirit and self belief that should carry us through . A place in the clubs History is in touching distance and that situation can never be reversed if achieved.

The Imperial result was fantastic especially after losing earlier in the season , scoring 50 points plus put smiles on everyone's face and the togetherness was phenomenal .

A difficult cup tie was approached with determination and a real focus , all played their part on the night from giving great support and words of wisdom to putting their bodies on the line.

The 10 minute period where we played with 13 men emphasized how the team pulls together and the collective team spirit carried us to victory. The current run of wins demonstrates for me the team is enjoying its rugby, the spirit is high and everyone is keen not to let this opportunity slip by.

Everyone is now fully aware of the club message put out by Glenn, it would be a bloody shame if we were to fall foul of a discipline issue, some time it's frustration but rugby players have always been renowned for calling the referee Sir and keeping the mouth shut.

No more needs to be said Crocks!
