Tower Hill 7-0 Brize Norton
A day to forget
After last weeks win confidence was high, Brize Norton turned up at West Witney to find no spare changing room, so this meant getting changed outside in full view of dog walkers and half of Witney much to Shaun Rooney's pleasure.

Marshall was out after the birth of his daughter during the week, huge congratulations from the club! With no other goalkeeper to choose from Gregor put his hand up to go in goal. Rob Hook put Rooney straight back into his starting XI after his holiday to the states, better communication between the manager and Morgan meant he was back playing, giving this week he had the right pitch, Hook must of felt guilty has he handed him the armband for this match. Making his debut for the first team Martin Edwards and Max Hilliard who started on the bench.
From the very 1st minute and first attack Tower Hill went ahead and from there on in it was an uphill struggle for Brize Norton. I wont be providing to much of a report as the less I say about this match the better, it is one too forget. Credit to Tower Hill they are a good young team and will be, for sure, challenging for the league.
Brize found themselves 2-0 not long after. For 20-30 minutes of the 1st half match was one sided but Tower Hill couldn't extend their lead and Brize not being able to play the way they have been.
Half time only 2-0 and still in it, somehow! Rob Hook tried to rally his troops but heads were down.
Brize held out for 10 minutes until a freekick was given to Tower Hill out on the touchline. The resulting freekick found its way looping over the entire defence and attackers of Tower Hill and straight into the top corner. 3-0.
Now the floodgates opened and then came 4,5,6&7.
One positive note, you could call it that, in the 80th minute Brize had their first shot on target, this was to come from the centre back of all people, Edwards who hit a powerful shot from 40 yards which was saved easily by Tower Hill's keeper who probably had the easiest game of his life.
This game will not live long in the memory and all of us will be keen to quickly put this defeat behind us and move onto a important cup game against a prem side in Chipping Norton next week...
