Heath Manager Steve Painter has moved quickly to strengthen his squad due to the fixture congestion his team face over the next few weeks.

Having already captured the services of Shaun Findlay from Dorking Wanderers, Painter has also brought in the much sort after striker Tom Lyons from Haywards Heath and his brother Jack who has only recently returned from travelling abroad. Tom has a lot of experience at this level and above having played for Three Bridges, Crawley Down and Loxwood. While brother Jack, an attacking midfield player, has a similar record having also played for Crawley Down, Dorking Wanderers and in the Ryman League.

Painter said “The poor weather we’ve had in recent weeks has resulted in a number of postponements and we will be playing twice a week from now until March so it was important that we could add more strength to the squad”. “I am delighted that Tom and Jack have signed for the club both players bring a lot of experience with them and will help us through this difficult period”.

Both players will go straight into the squad for the Senior Cup match at Ryman Premier Division Burgess Hill Town on Wednesday.
