At the time the Broadbridge Heath FC committee and Steve came in for a lot of criticism on social media with one anonymous person saying "Steve Painter is a shocking manager. Just an angry man who loses it when things don't go his way".

Well 5 years later the angry man is still in charge and with little or no resources he has guided the team to two promotions, four senior cup finals, one final and last season to their highest ever position, let's hope Steve's still proving his critics wrong in another 5 years time.
