A youthful Heath side found themselves 0-4 down at half-time to a useful and more experienced Horsham YMCA team in the local derby clash in the SCFL Reserve Division but the Bears rallied round in the second half pulling a late goal back through Dane Riecker but in the closing stages a controversial goal in injury time from former Heath player George Hole made the final score 5-1.
The controversy was over an offside decision that Heath Lino Don Cunningham failed to give against the player and after the game Don apologised to the Heath players saying unfortunately his glasses had steamed up and he couldn't see to the far side, and like he said you can't give what you can't see.
Heath are home again next week to Steyning Town Reserves, this will be Graham Shergolds first game back at the helm of the team and we wish him all the very best for the rest of the season.
Come On You Bears!
