Under 9s - New Players Welcome!
The U9s squad is for kids who will be in school year 4 from September 2012. We play a combination of mini-rugby and shaping the game rugby to U9 rules, both of which involves contact. Teams are made up of 9 players in mini rugby and 7 in shaping the game rules.
Our rugby focus for the 2012-2013 is to continue playing fast, open and exciting rugby to develop evasion and invasion skills.
Our coaching aims are to help develop Competence, Confidence, Connection, Character and Creativity for all kids who want to join a team that plays together.
New players are always welcome. You can turn up at a training session to see what goes on or contact one of the coaches (Marcel 07989 696048 Paul 07821 630459) so that we can plan to make sure you get the best introduction.
Training starts again on Wednesday 5 September. We generally train and play Wednesday & Sunday during the season and Wednesday night only during the closed season.
