New Players Welcome
This squad is a combined under-9/under-10 squad. We train kids who will be in school years 4 and 5 from September 2011. As the squad grows we hope to split into separate under-9 and under-10 squads.
The squad plays mini-rugby to under-9 rules, which involves contact, but with much simpler rules than the senior game. Teams are made up of 9 players, with 3 forwards. Scrums and line-outs are uncontested, and there is no kicking of the ball.
All new players welcome - either turn up at training time to have a go, or contact one of the coaches beforehand.
The squad includes kids from lots of local schools, so the chances are, if you go to school locally, some of your mates already play here!
Please note that during the close season we only train on Wednesday evenings.
