Brockenhurst 2nd IX started the season by winning their first game of the season against Bransgore 2nd team.
The team management and players worked hard and made sure they learnt from any mistakes and the team moral was kept high despite losing their second game against Fawley. The next 4 games were won but they lost to Ringwood who were number one on the league table and then to Burley in the absence of their very experienced captain Neil Harvey.
After losing two games in a row the team got back to winning ways against Bashley V before a 2 week break in the season due to East Christchurch dropping out of the league and our bye week.
Combination of young and mature players is working for Brockenhurst 2nd XI especially with a variety of bowling options and a skilful batting lineup the team is getting stronger and hopefully will end the season on a high note.
