Badgers Sign Three as Juxon departs

11 months ago By Adam Checkley

New signings aplenty as we look to the Christmas break period.

Three new players have joined the Badgers this week. Norton & Skinner have moved quickly to strengthen the squad ahead of a tough set of fixtures in the run up to Christmas and are both delighted to have the services of the trio available.

Lee Osborne, Jasper Johns and Jack Clarke have all put pen to paper for the Badgers this week and Norton says after a tough couple of weeks, the new players will add a different dimension to the playing squad.

" We have landed on our feet bringing Lee into the fold, he's very experienced at this level having previously been with Stourbridge, Evesham, Redditch and Halesowen so it was a no-brainer. Lee has been training with us for a few weeks now and we know what we're getting with him, he will certainly contribute to our attacking options going forward and is guaranteed to get us goals.

Jasper is a midfielder that we've had an interest in for in a long time, we tried to sign him in the summer and again in September but missed out on both occasions. He's a local lad and is still young although experienced in the game. He'll offer us a different dimension to our midfield with the quality around him and he'll be an important asset to the club going forward.

Jack Clarke is a 19 year old winger whose got fantastic potential. He's previously been with Kidderminster Harries U21's and has recently recovered from a ligament tear to his knee. He'll be involved with both ourselves and the U21's over the next few weeks whilst we asses how far away he is from being match fit before he becomes a regular with ourselves.

Ben Douglas has also made the step up into the first team squad from our U21's. He's been given 4-5 opportunities so far this season to make a statement that he's ready to step up to Senior Football and he's landed on his feet. He's still got more to offer us so we'll be pushing him in the right direction to maximize his potential. "

The club also thanks the departing Dan Lomas and Anthony Juxon for there efforts.
