MATCH PREVIEW: A Swift visit from a Bolehall team desperate for points

9 months ago By Adam Checkley

Badgers looking for another win following the Lichfield game today.

It will be another competitive game today as Bolehall battle with local neighbours Stafford Town for the last relegation spot in Division One.

Bolehall are currently one point ahead of Town with 2 games in hand, so they have the upper hand but with a 7 point gap to Cadbury ahead of them, they will be keen to take all three points today. However, last time out saw them take a huge home loss 11-0 to Heather St Johns which will have dented confidence in a team with only 6 wins all season, the last of which coming last November.

The Badgers on the other hand are on the up with two wins in the last three games including the impressive away win at Lichfield. It's a full squad to choose from for Sam with Joel Mills also coming into contention and Jack Edwards back in the squad following an injury.

With 8 games to go, the Badgers are looking to continue their push up the league with a comfortable mid table finish in the offing. Given the proposed split of leagues in the summer, league position will be critical, so here's hoping for another Badger win this afternoon!
