MATCH PREVIEW: Badgers start 2018 with the visit of Copsewood

9 months ago By Adam Checkley

We start 2018 hoping to pick up points and put 2017 firmly behind us!

With 2017 firmly in the distance, the Badgers will be hoping for an improvement in form in 2018 and start to inch firmly back up the table.

The Badgers name an unchanged squad for the visit of Copsewood after the Boxing day reverse to Chemlsley Town. However, with no game over the new year period, the team should be well rested ahead of the tomorrow.

However, visitors Copsewood should be even more rested having not played a game since a 7-2 away thumping to Heather on the 23rd December, almost a full two weeks before tomorrow's match. Copsewood have had a a very up and down season so far with a 8-0 hammering of local rivals Alvis in the Floodlit Cup the game before last and two 4-1 losses in a row before this.

Currently sitting nicely in 12th, Copsewood either win or lose on the road with 14 games, 6 wins and 7 losses scoring as many as they concede. Watch out for Daniel Fraser, a player with an eye for goal but also one to keep working to the last.
