MATCH PREVIEW: Hunt Cup Action at Bridgnorth, a haunting prospect...

2 weeks ago By Adam Checkley

Can the Badgers duck the ghosts and ghouls on Halloween to make Round 2 in the Hunt Cup?

We face a trip across to WMRL Prem side AFC Bridgnorth, currently sitting 15th in their league. The Badgers take a squad down the M54 with Hamilton, Juxon, Burns and Curtis all sitting out but with Hartshorne, Matt Holland and Declan McMahon coming back into the Squad.

Our form against WMRL teams this season has been good, but Sam Norton will be hoping this is a competition we can push forward on after relatively mediocre achievements in the last 5 years.

Bridgnorth have lost 5 at home this season but only conceding 12 goals in the process, making for plenty of tight matches which could have gone either way. However, they haven't won a single game in October, a trend they will be working hard to reverse.

Worth keeping at eye on the Bridgnorth twitter feed for latest news on the night. (@AFCBridgnorth).
