Brocton vs Heather St Johns - Match Preview
It’s the visit of the league leaders tomorrow as Brocton face a Heather team, currently on a winning run stretching back 10 games back to the 10th November.
In that run was the infamous 6-4 loss we suffered at Heather, despite taking a 3-0 lead, giving Heather a real scare. Kev, Matt and the management team will be looking at last week’s uncharacteristic 0-0 draw and hoping to keep another clean sheet but pressing more up front. With good attempts, a keeper on fire in the Cadbury goal kept Brocton at bay, so the chances are there, just better conversion needed.
Heather will be in buoyant mood currently leading the table by 4 points from Atherstone, with a comfortable win away to Heath Hayes last week. Scoring an unbelievable 88 goals so far this season after 20 matches, Heather are free scoring with that man, Simeon Cobourne scoring 33 already this season.
It’s going to be a tough ask, but on a very cold day in Stafford, anything can happen so come down and support the lads tomorrow at 3pm!
