MATCH PREVIEW: Racing come to town as Badgers look to extend unbeaten run

3 months ago By Adam Checkley

It's another midweek fixture as Warwick make the long journey to Silkmore tonight.

Tonight we face 7th placed Racing Club Warwick at Silkmore Lane, following our 1-1 draw with Bolehall at the weekend.

Warwick started the season in excellent form, beating ourselves at their home in the first game of the season. However, over the last few matches, form has dropped away slightly with losses at home to Pershore and away to Nuneaton, with a 4-4 draw with Hinckley in between.
However, league position belies the amount of games Warwick have played which is 4 less than the Badgers and 7 less than 8th placed Paget Rangers. With so many games to catch up, tonight is 1st of 3 games in 5 days for Warwick.

The Badgers enter the match with 4 points from the last two games and 7 points in the last 4 matches, a stark improvement in form from earlier in the season. Sam's squad has remained in tact from Saturday and the team will be looking forward to a game under the Silkmore floodlights, which always brings a different atmosphere to the match.

The game kicks off at 7.45pm with entrance priced at £5 and £3. A pie, pint and entrance for less than £10, can't be bad!
