MATCH PREVIEW: Sent to Coventry today to get 3 points

8 months ago By Adam Checkley

Badgers have the first of the double header with Copsewood today

It’s funny how these fixtures end up working out and with the worst winter in living memory for postponed games, Brocton and Copsewood face each other in quick succession, today and Tuesday.

The Visitors enter the game on the back of an away drubbing to league leaders Walsall Wood 6-0 on Tuesday night. This is compounded with 4 losses previous to this, but all against the top 5 teams in the league, an horrendous run of fixtures. Despite this, they are 13th in the league and 9 points above ourselves with 3 games in hand.

The Badgers will be hoping to but Tuesday’s 4-0 kids behind them on what was a poor showing with full investigations on the pitch after the match led by skipper Woods on what happened.

They will be hoping to improve at Copsewood as a win could move the Badgers into 17th if results go their way.

On Tuesday we face Copsewood again but at home, early revenge for either club!
