Season kicks off with a tough test

4 months ago By Adam Checkley

The Badgers face a stiff test with Atherstone Town the visitors in the first game of the season.

With the World Cup summer over, its time to hit the league trail again for the Badgers after a rebuilding summer.

With a new coaching team in place and a raft of new players, optimism is high as the club goes back to its roots by given talented youngsters the chance to impress.

If the pre season form is anything to go by, we have seen improvements already but the players will still be in learning mode as we face Atherstone in our opening game.

Atherstone will be rightly challenging for the title this year after a solid season last time out. However, there are unknowns his year as new clubs have joined Division One this year as a result of the Step 6 reshuffle.

The game kicks off at 3pm and updates for the game will on our twitter feed @broctonfc
