Brodsworth Welfare AFC Committee would like to thank Barrie Abbott for his services to the club.

Outgoing Chairman Barrie Abbott has stepped down from the committee with immediate effect. Barrie had this to say on his departure "I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at the Club. Mark Bell. James Irwin. Kenny Taylor and Vanny in particular.
Its been a pleasure and a honour to serve at the club and be part of its progress and rejuvenation. I will always be there if required in the future.
At this time I feel we need someone who can pull all the teams together and continue the progress of the last three years.
Its hasn't and will not be easy for me over the next few weeks to fill the void of Broddy it has been my life for so long.
I wish the Club the best going forward and hope that it carrys on the progression so many of us have strived for over recent years"

We echo Barrie's sentiments and would like to thank him for his dedication to the club especially in the hard days after the club hit rock bottom on its relegation from the NCEL. Barrie dragged the club off its knees and turned it back into the relative success it is now.

Many Thanks

All at Brodsworth Welfare AFC
