The refurbished changing rooms at Brodsworth Welfare were re-opened by Doncaster Mayor Ros Jones on Wednesday 5th March 2014.

After months of hard work we were delighted to host an opening event for our recently refurbished changing rooms.
Doncaster Rovers Academy sent a squad to play our Under 17's to mark the event. Doncaster's elected Mayor Ros Jones officially opened the changing rooms prior to the game in the presence of many of the clubs, players, parents officials and helpers.
Guests who attended included DDJSFL delegates Margaret and Keith Mitchell, Cllr John Mounsey, CISWO delegates Ian Lally and Rod Markham, Doncaster Rovers Head of Youth Paul Wilson and local sports guru Steve Hossack.

Ros Jones, Mayor of Doncaster, said: “Brodsworth Welfare Football Club plays an important role within the community, getting residents of differing ages involved in sport.

I am delighted to open these new changing rooms and I would like to thank Sport England for its generous grant which has paid for these new facilities.”

An excellent evening was had by all.

The club would like to thank everyone who attended.

A report on Brodsworth Welfare AFC can be found in next weeks Doncaster Free Press.
