Broughton's Mark Morgan, affectionately nick-named 'Horse', was the mane man as the Wardie men dumped Dick Vet.

Broughton got their first back-to-back wins of the season as they recorded a 23-10 victory at Peffermill.

Broughton were saddled with an early injury to Prop Martin Scott and he had to trot off after 90 seconds. An impact player in his day, his short contribution always welcomed!

The former PL man scored a brace of tries as Broughton jumped to stable 4th place in the league.

Johann Archard grabbed the other try and the rest of the points came from the trusty boot of Robert 'Bombers' Malcolm who kicked a conversion and two penalties who will be jockeying for position as top points scorer come the end of the season.

Time run out on the chase to secure a 4th try and that elusive bonus point. However Coach Rhys Williams was delighted to get another win under the Broughton belt - the mare the merrier! (Ok - enough puns please - Editor)
