Latest: 2018-19 Men's Fixtures unveiled

4 months ago By Mark Brown

Broughton will kick-off their 2018-19 season with a trip to the seaside in the Edinburgh Shield whilst Duns head to Wardie for the East 1 opener.

Richie Todd's Broughton see their competitive campaign open with a tough away tie in Round 1 of the Edinburgh Shield at Cavalry Park against Portobello.

Seven days later, the league campaign opens in earnest with Borders side Duns heading to North Edinburgh.

The following week the Wardie boys have the opportunity to top up their tan with a second trip to Porty, this time with league points on offer.

With the East 1 league operating an 11 team competition for a second season, there's down-tool time in the fixture list. That comes as early as week three but we are back the following Saturday when Forrester make the short trip across town.
