Sunday's Edinburgh Derby sees Broughton head across town to take on Watsonians as they look to close the game at the top of National League 1.

Broughton Coach Louise Forsyth hopes her side can recreate the magnificent form that saw them keep a clean sheet whilst scoring 59 points in their last League outing up in Aberdeen at the beginning of the November.

The Wardie side made the Myreside on the back of four league victories, conceding just 12 points along the way.

Forsyth said, "We've had two weeks to prepare for Sunday and the buzz around the training paddock is incredible. The players can't wait to get back on the park and I know that they are going to attack this game with the same gusto and determination as they did against Aberdeen."

"Watsonians have some dangerous game makers, but so have we. We've done our homework but as Coach, I'm not channelling by energies in worrying about the opposition - this is about Broughton.

"We have a fantastic squad here and the new recruits are continuing to impress including Sophie Spence in the front row. We have strength & depth in our squad and no matter who we play in the starting 20 do the job asked of them, it's a fluid transition too when subs come on."

The match at Myreside kicks-off at 2pm.
