Peffermill for thrills this Sunday as Broughton Women welcome Dundee

2 years ago, By Mark Brown

Broughton Women have been forced into a late change of venue for their Premier 2 clash v Dundee Uni this Sunday.

Due to Edinburgh Leisure's decision on Friday morning to deem Wardie unfit to play on, the Women will kick off their Premier 2 campaign at Peffermill Playing Fields v Dundee Uni.

It'll be the first time the two sides will have met since Broughton's formation in September 2009.

The Students were watched in their last outing in November in their heavy defeat to Watsonians and despite the 82-14 loss, their Stand-Off and Inside Centre impressed on the day.

For Broughton, it will be the chance to extend their 11 match winning streak although Coach Marius Briedenhann knows the step up in division will be another test for his squad.

The kick off has been changed to 13.30h.
