A wiser man than me said " I only sponsor people nowadays if I feel the challenge might kill them", thus with this in mind and having had a few easy years since running the Edinburgh Marathon in 2012 I thought Id try to raise some money for Barnardo's by doing some challenges

Thus I thought coming up with a range of challenges that grinded away with training and loss of weekends would probably show my commitment more and reduce the fun element enough that someone might sponsor my a pound. Thus I've signed up for the following and have been busy over the off season completing them

May
31st May - Edinburgh Half Marathon - done in 1 Hour and 59 mins

June
7th June - Dragon Boat Racing - done we came 2nd

13th June - Edinburgh to St Andrew 68 mile cycle - Completed in four hours and 15 mins

August
9th of Aug - Tour of the Borders Cycle 74 mile cycle - Completed in five hours

September
13th - Great North Run - Completed in 2 hours and 15 mins

This leaves just one challenge left to do, which will be after having played in the rugby match the day before.

October
4th - Glasgow Half Marathon
