Anna Soiluva, who only started playing the game a couple of years ago after finding Broughton whilst visiting Edinburgh for an extended break, is part of the Finland National team heading to the Capital next February.
The National Team will be coming to Scotland to take on Scotland Under 20's in a Friendly fixture.
The 23 year old, who plays her rugby for Helsinki Warriors, told her Broughton friends via Facebook, "For me this is AMAZING to come and play in Finland's jersey to the place where I started to play this wonderful sport. I dont know any details, only that we are coming thu 21.2. and leaving sun 24.2."
Soiluva, represented her Country in the 2011 European Championship in Romania, making history by scoring Finland's only points during a tough baptism of fire against Spain, France A and Sweden. This year, she scored all 17 points in their 17-45 defeat to Russia.
Finland have only been playing International Womens Rugby since 2007, recording victories against Norway and Luxembourg along the way.
A big congratulations to Anna for making the squad and we look forward to cheering her on next February. Well, maybe not cheering her on too much.....
