Thomson confirms he's staying on next season.

At the start of the season Stuart Thomson had been asked by the coach at the time , Doug McClure to come down and help out a little with the forwards as part of three person coaching team with Marius Briedenhann and himself

That role soon changed when Doug's work commitments changed and he had to step down as coach, Stuart was committed enough to stay involved and co-coached the men's team with Marius Briedenhann for the first few months of the season.

When two months later Marius emigrated to Australia, Stuart was the last man standing and was asked to step up to head coach role on a temporary basis whilst the committee looked for a permanent replacement.

Making a short story even longer as we reach 2016 and with Stuart having thrown himself into the head coach role with enthusiasm and passion. Which has seen him rewarded with enjoyment by being part of the team and development of his skills as coach he applied to be head coach on a permanent basis.

Therefore I am pleased to announce the Stuart Thomson will be the Broughton Men's Coach for the foreseeable future.
