Broughton Women show superior experience, skills and strength at NDL

By Shona Roche, Sunday November 15

Perfect ten yet again for Broughton women and this time in only 40 minutes!

Following a morning coaching session focusing on communication and utilising the space, the Broughton women's team took on the best of the rest at the NDL in Peffermill on Sunday.

Broughton managed to score ten trys, converting seven courtesy of Kinghorn, in the 20 minute a side game. The reporter is not even going to attempt to recall who scored what and when! It was a welcome return for second row, Jenn Choweniec, following a long spell out with an ankle injury. unfortunately the Frog was stopped in her super scrum half tracks when she fell heavily and dislocated her knee (again!), fingers crossed for a speedy recovery! Special mention must go to V, who cycled to Peffers for the game following an afternoon of lacrosse coaching!

Final score 64 - 0 to the Wardie Foxes. Bring on the next opponents!

Where next?

Perfect 10 as Broughton get some Vet Practice The Big Day at Wardie kicked off with a 60-0 win for Broughton Women over Dick Vet College, scoring no fewer than 10 tries.
