2011/12 Subscriptions
As we move towards February, in excess of 100 members have not paid their membership fees for this season.
Whilst the list no doubt includes members who have now left the Club, it does include some prominent members whom we can only assume have overlooked this year’s subscription.
The Management Committee has considered posting a list of outstanding subscriptions in the Clubhouse, but understands that such an action may cause unnecessary embarrassment to the individuals concerned and has so far declined to take this unpleasant step.
The Club badly needs this income and it sends the wrong messages to our sponsors and other funding bodies who look to see a fair contribution to the Club from its membership. If you are in any doubt about whether you have paid your subscription for this season, please contact Alan Marsland or any Committee member who will be able to tell you if you have not yet paid.
