Sunday 19th - Broughton Park 5's v Aspull 1's KO 14.00
Final score Broughton Park 35 - Aspull 21. Great win for the boys as the 5's progress in the cup
This was an entertaining game that almost everything. There were tries as promised (including one from Shack!), a punch up, a tackle from KOB, Corndog being dumped and most of all a victory for the 5's.
It was a fiesty game between two very evenly matched teams, both containing some very experienced players. Yes there were mistakes but also plenty of skills evident from both teams.
Park ran out 35 - 21 winners, but of particular note was the kicking display from both teams as two extremely experienced kickers produced a 100% record.
