WELL CZECH THIS OUT
Broxbourne Borough received a surprise phone call last night from the FA requesting the use of our pitch Tuesday morning.
Director Tom Mundt not sure if it was a wind up or not agreed and at 11am this morning the England Under 19 squad turned up for a training session. We are of course delighted and honoured that they came and not for the first time. A couple of years ago Estonia trained here before their game against Englandd visits from West Bromich Albion so someone up there must like us.
The Under 19 squad play Czechoslovakia tonight at Leyton Orient. We wish them all the best and good luck when their campaign starts in earnest in the summer.
