A little bit about us.....

The BSN Rugby Club has been running for over 25 years and is one of the largest and most successful youth rugby clubs in The Netherlands. From Under9 to Under19, teams compete in all regional and national competitions. This involves travelling to all parts of The Netherlands which is an enjoyable way to see the country.

The club also has an active Tags (non-contact) rugby introduction programme for U7's.

While we are based at the British School in The Netherlands, it is certainly not a requirement to attend the BSN school in order to join our club. Over the years the club has become the rugby home for many players (and their parents) from the extended international community in the region including local dutch players as well.

Originally, the club was formed and run by the BSN sports staff. While rugby remains a key part of the schools extracurricular sports programme, the day to day running of the club is managed by an enthusiastic group of parental volunteers - the Club Committee.

The committee is actively supported by team focussed groups, with each age group having a number of coaches and a dedicated team manager. Everyone helps out, whether with their rugby skills, their car driving skills, their ability to fill water bottles, etc, but most importantly as vocal supporters!
