We are delighted to announce that national radio station talkSPORT have chosen Buckingham Town to be the non-league side that the Extra Time show follows throughout the year.

The Extra Time show which is presented by Mike Graham, Adam Catterall, Russell Hargeaves, and Geoff Peters is the late night show on talkSPORT. A feature of the show is dedicated to non-league football, and the selected team they ‘adopt’ for the season. The show will spend time discussing recent results and news at the club, this to include management, officials, and players on a weekly basis on air for a chat.

It all starts tonight at 22:30 when manager Chris Robson joins the show for an interview regarding the season ahead which starts tomorrow when we travel to Oakham United. This will a pre-recorded interview and the actual show is on air from 1am until 6am on Saturday Morning.

Chris Robson added:

“It is a great privilege to be chosen by such a station as talkSPORT. Everyone at the club has worked so hard over the past year or so to get this club back into a positive light, and it seems with the ground completion and such news like this we are getting there. It is great publicity for the club as it is national radio, and hopefully the listeners will be interested in our journey”.

“I would like to thank Simon Watts who helped organise this, as well as talkSPORT for giving us this opportunity and platform to spread the word about Buckingham Town. We are very excited to get going”.

The club would like to go on record thanking talkSPORT for choosing Buckingham Town to follow.

talkSPORT is available on 1053 & 1089 MW, as well as DAB radio, and SKY channel 0108.
