Welcome to the 2012/13 season, a season in which we look forward to our 1st XV mounting a strong challenge to return back to South West 1 East.
The first League match of our campaign is away to Tadley on 8th September and we then welcome the boys at home on 15th September when they take on Thatcham. I look forward to seeing many of you there.
As always we have a number of lunches and events lined up. Demand for lunch places is increasing and I would urge you all not only to make a note of the dates in your diary but also to make payment of £25 per lunch as soon as possible to secure your places:

The ‘standard’ VP membership subscription is £75.00 and it remains the same for the forthcoming season. We continue to classify the VP ‘subscription’ payment as being £5 accompanied by a ‘donation’ to the Club of up to £70. (The Club is a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) able to operate as a charity claiming tax relief on gift aided donations, and as a result make good use of this by claiming basic rate of tax on your donation).
We appreciate that some existing VP’s are long distance supporters and may not feel able make good use of the Club and its facilities, attend the VP lunches, receive international tickets etc. A ‘remote VP’ membership remains open on this basis, with a minimum donation of £30 in addition to the £5 subscription payment.
If you would like to consider becoming a Life Member, a one off payment of £1000 would provide considerable help in our plan to commence the next phase of our facilities development next May; the kitchen and storage areas.
Subscriptions and donations are due now and by 30th September 2012 please at the latest. Payment can be accepted by cheque, by Standing Order or by using our new online payment facility that facilitates payment by PayPal or credit card.
The 300 Club acts as a major fund raiser for the Club with monthly prizes of £250.00 to £1000 and I urge you to consider joining if you are not already a member.
In closing, the Club looks forward to your continued support on the touch line, as we approach another exciting season on Floyd Field.
