We frequently get requests to support fundraising efforts however few are as close to home as this. Please take a few minutes to read the following.

Oli is 26 and a past RLS pupil. He played youth rugby at Buckingham, including colts, before heading off to University and a promising career. We understand his Head Coach was Barry Wallis and he played along side the likes Will Gulliver, James Francis, Tom Clarke, Rob Agnew, Jack Deal, Ben Sawbridge to name a few.

He was only 22 in Dec 2014 when he was diagnosed with a particularly aggressive brain tumour. This was completely out of the blue. He was given only 12 to 18 months to live.
He had 15 months of chemotherapy radiotherapy and immunotherapy and then ran the London Marathon one month after finishing treatment. He did this in less than 4 hours raising 60k including gift aid for Brain Tumour Research. All future scans were good and he went back to work and his life returned to normal.

Oli found out just before Christmas that his tumour has returned. He had a big operation 3 weeks ago and is going to have chemo for the next 9 to 12 months. His family are now trying to raise money for the next stage of his treatment which is not available on the NHS and will hopefully prolong his life.

Pictured is Oli with his dad Tim, both Saints fans.
