Buckley draw at Llandudno
Buckley returned from the trip to Llandudno having to be content wit a share of the spoils.
In a much improved performance Buckley can consider themselves unfortunate not to have returned with all 3 points in a game which was spoilt in the 8th minute when Tom Smith clearly won the ball in the middle of the park yet the referee seemed fit to see it as a straight red to the amasement of everyone in the ground especially as it was right under the Llandudno bench with even there staff and substitutes not beliving what the ref had done. It was Buckley who looked the more composed and confident knocking the ball round and finding space on a bumpy pitch. Derek Taylor has the 1st clear chacne when he reacted quickest to a Carl Lamb shot on 3 minutes but the keeper recovered to make a save. The next talking point was on 8 minutes when Tom received a red before Joe Freeman played in Carl Lamb to put us 1 up on 10 minutes. Shortly afterwards Carl went through again but saw his shot hit the bar, at this stage it was hard to tell who had the 10 men as we played some decent stuff and defended well when we didnt have the ball. In the 5th minutes of injury time Eddie Jebb scored from 20 yards when he seemed to wrong foot Ben in goal.
The 2nd half saw Llandudno have plenty of possesion as they tried to make the extra man count but it was Buckley who used the ball better and had the best chance of the half as Alan Bull worked space in the box but fired wide, Ryan Astles went close from a set play whilst Tom Dix had Llandudno best chance which Ben did well to turn round the post. The final whistle went with probably both maangers content with a point but yet again the main talking point came from the man in the middle.
