Buckley welcome Chirk AAA to Globe Way on Tuesday for this rearranged NEWFA cup tie. Manager Gareth Thomas has indicated that he will have a full sqaud available for the game in a competition which has seen Buckley do well over recent seasons. Perry added we had hoped to rotate the squad for this cup tie but with having a couple of postponments in the last week and no game this weekend I'll be playing our strongest side. This is going to be a hard tie, I've a great deal of respect for Cookie and have known him a long well, he will go on to be a top manager and Im sure his side will be up for this game. I know from speaking with him on a regular bases that there geared up for promotion to the Cymru Alliance and I hope he achives that this season by winning the Welsh National League.
This is another competition that gives us a chance of winning silverware in a cup that Buckley have a proud history in, our priority has to be the league with 10 games to go but with us reaching a crucial period in the season and game's starting to come every Saturday and Midweek it's crucial that we get on a run again and there's no better boost for confidence than winning games. Despite certain rumours Perry has stressed that apart from waiting on International Clearance on new signing Khalid Al-Samarraie and waiting to finalise 1 more deal he cant see anymore players coming in for the remainder of the season. With these 2 new signings that takes the squad to 18 and we'll need all the players for the remaining games. We've had enquires for a couple of players but everyone is happy and willing to stay and help us in our pursuit of the league and cup competitions.
