Buckley Reserves progressed into the Semi Final of the league Cup with a 4 - 1 win at local neighbours Argoed United.

With a break from league action the Reserves continued there unbeaten run this season with another impressive performance progressing in the semi final to keep alive there hopes of a league and cup double. The goals arrived via a Ben Parsons header from a Steve Lunt corner, the 2nd goal arrived before half time with the impressive Jordan Sutton-Briggs heading home a Callum Evans free kick. The half time score saw us go in 2 1 up. The second half saw us score again through Jordan and the final goal came from leading scorer Steve Lunt who scored direct from a free kick. The only down side to the win saw injuries to Marc Fell and Ben Parsons saw the side finish the last 20 minutes with 10 men after using all there subs. Another good performance which keeps us on course for a league and Cup double.
