Manager Gareth Thomas has indicated that he will play his strongest side this weekend in the North East Wales Challenge Cup tie away at Penyffordd.

This is our only hope of silverware and we will give the cup and the opposition the respect it deserves. We want to win this trophy again, the club has a great record of late in this competition and we are desperate to win it again this season. There are several players here who won the cup 3 seasons ago and want to win it again. The squad will be strong but we have a few injury doubts at present with midfielder Derek Taylor looking the biggest doubt with an ankle injury, Anthony Williams should be fit following a neck strain whilst both Mark Allen and Ben Jones will also be available after missing training midweek. The squad will be without Tom Smith through suspension but Lee Hammond, Ricki Neil and Reece Norton are all puching for a starting place.

Where next?

Busy weekend ahead A Busy weekend ahead for the club with both sides in action and there is also a fundraising evening being held Saturday night at the club.
