Code of Conduct
The essence of good ethical conduct and practice is summarised below. All volunteers will:
* consider the wellbeing and safety of participants whilst developing performance.
* develop an appropriate working relationship with players, based on mutual trust and respect.
* make sure all activities are appropriate to the age, ability and experience of those taking part.
* promote the positive aspects of Rugby Union (such as fair play).
* never condone rule violations, or excessively rough play.
* encourage players to value their performances and not just results.
* display consistently high standards of behaviour and appearance.
* follow all guidelines laid down by the national governing body and of Bugbrooke Rugby Union Football Club Ltd.
* hold the appropriate, valid qualifications and insurance cover.
* Under no circumstances will Bugbrooke Rugby Union Football Club Ltd condone the 'poaching' of players or coaches, or offer any 'inducement' to encourage players or coach to transfer from another Rugby club.
