A warm reception was afforded to the Bunbury City Bulls’ U13 and U15 teams who were given the privilege of going to Perth to play against the well established Southern Lions juniors. Both teams performed excellent against this large metropolitan club and showed excellent sportsmanship on and off the field.
The teams entertained the large crowd with some outstanding rugby skills. Many tries were scored, some great tackles made and the boys had fun doing what they love and making Bunbury very proud. The Bunbury City U13s scored an exciting 38 to 20 points win sealed with a 80 meter try from speedy winger Ethan Williams after some slick passing through the backs
The Southern Lions’ coaches were very impressed by the Bunbury City Bulls and were happy once again to be part of this growing relationship between these two family centric clubs
