After finally breaking their losing streak at home against Aireborough last weekend the 1st XV this Saturday will be looking to push on and guarantee league survival when they welcome Old Modernians to the Abbey. When Burley played away at Old Mods back in November they lost 22-7 after previously losing at home to the same side in the YST, extra motivation to return the favour on Saturday. The weather is forecasted to be cloudy with highs of 12C.

Meet time of 1330 for a kick-off of 1500. £4 match subs (fines for lateness). The new polo shirts (if you have one) are acceptable pre-match attire if not a white or blue shirt should be worn along with a club tie which is the also the post-match attire. Polo Shirts are now available priced at £12.

Also all players who are not in the squad below but are available there is a 2nd XV fixture away at Old Modernians so be at the club for 1315 sharp with £4 match fees (fines for lateness) in the new club polo shirt pre-match or a blue or white shirt and club tie (also the shirt/tie is for post-match).
