Results for the 2nd XV have been somewhat up and down of late, but even when struggling for numbers they have always given a good account of themselves particularly two weeks ago in a losing effort against table topping Old Modernians who were made to work hard for their win. This coming Saturday presents another opportunity for the Burley’s 2nd XV to set out its stall when they host York 4th XV at the Abbey Road Pitch. The weather is forecasted to be sunny but slightly cooler than it has been this past week with highs of 10C.

Meet time of 1330 prompt for a kick-off of 1500. £4 match subs (fines for lateness). The new polo shirts (if you have one) are acceptable pre-match attire if not a white or blue shirt should be worn along with a club tie which is the also the post-match attire. Polo Shirts are now available priced at £12.
