A sad loss to every one who knew him.
I'd only known him for about 12 months, but from the start he was friendly, enthusiastic and was always up for a game. What a gentleman !
Devastated to hear of Paul's death. A good friend, drinking companion and fellow player of nearly 40 year's ago - not forgetting the memorable 1980 Canada tour.
All the more poignant as I saw him again after many years at the Sandal away fixture.
Sadly missed.

I would like to raise a glass to Paul Quare. An inimitable character with an impish smile and a sense of humour that was always one step ahead. Charming company, a gentle individual off the pitch and a tiger on it. I shared with him in Sun City during the 2009 Lions tour and remember him scuttling off at 6.00am for a walking safari. I still have fits of laughter remembering his tale of how they turned a corner in the bush and walked into a White Rhino. Memories of various Isle of Man tours and Canada coming flooding back.Paul was kind sensitive and always had a twinkle in his eye. Still can't believe he has gone and he won't know how much he will be missed!
